CHICKASHA (AP) Grady County prosecutors have formally charged a man who allegedly led law enforcement officers on a chase while his baby was in the vehicle.Stephen Tennery was charged Monday with child abuse, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, eluding a police officer and placing bodily fluid on a government employee, among other counts.

An escapee from Catalyst Behavioral Services in Oklahoma City stole a car, broke into a Chickasha house and ended up in the Grady County Jail. Michael D. Spangler, Jr., 37, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 25 after police answered a call about a burglary in the 600 block of Nevada Ave. in Chickasha.

CHICKASHA, OK -- An Oklahoma inmate escaped from a correctional facility, but his escape went unnoticed until he broke into someone's home. Michael Spangler's run from the law didn't last long, but he was crafty while he was on the lamb. Authorities say no one knew this man had escaped until he stole a car and broke into an elderly woman's home.
